Picture Claire (2001) – Storyline

Claire Beaucage, a French-speaking woman from Quebec, finds herself left homeless and terrified when drug traffickers burn down her apartment in retaliation for tipping off the police. Fleeing to Toronto, she hopes to reunite with a photographer she once met – but instead, gets caught in a dangerous web of mistaken identity and criminal conspiracy. With almost no English and nowhere to turn, Claire must dodge both law enforcement and true villains while piecing together who she can trust. The film blends noir suspense with hallucinatory visuals, pushing her to the edge of survival.
